What I value the most in life is my family, my friendships and the connections and memories that we make. I am a bit of an old soul and a total empath. I love being with others but I also thrive in my own company.
I was born in the Philippines with a large family (my grandmother had 9 children - 8 girls and 1 boy!). My first memories were running barefoot along the beach of my home town as well as standing on rooftops over looking the city lights of Manila. I still remember the smell and sound of my surroundings and those young memories are imprinted in my mind forever. I moved to NZ just before I turned 7 where I lived in a small rural town, a stark contrast from where I was previously!
I am married to my high school sweetheart and together we are raising our daughter who has brought so much joy into our lives. I am a homebody in the sense that I just love being in my space, cooking warm meals and pottering around the house and garden but I also can't have a day off without heading to my favourite cafe for an iced latte. I love a good home renovation and I am continuously updating our home decor.
I love spending time with my loved ones, spoiling my daughter to bits, cooking, watching movies from the olden days and if I am in a strange city on my own, you’ll find me sipping on a bubble tea, walking around in a Museum looking for Mummies.
Becoming a mother a few years ago was the push that got me to pick up my camera and pursue a long life dream and tuning into Motherhood Photography was the perfect fit for me. As a mother, I know just how quickly time flies and how important it is to preserve photos each year. Each gallery tells a story and although it may not mean a lot in the year you get them done, they sure will have so much value as you grow older.
My ultimate goal is to document the connections you have with your loved ones, to freeze the small moments in time that you may relive them along with the emotion many years from now.
