In the whirlwind of parenthood, time seems to slip through our fingers like sand. But photography, with its magical ability to freeze a single instant, becomes a cherished lifeline, allowing us to hold onto the most precious moments of our children's lives. A simple photograph can encapsulate the innocence of your child's smile, the warmth of a loving embrace, or the wonder of their first steps. These images become tangible reminders of the profound bond that you have with your loved ones; preserving the laughter, the tears, and the unspoken connection. It can be easy to forget to document this incredible journey into motherhood, as we get lost in the excitement and anticipation of meeting our baby, but being able to capture you just as you are whilst growing a life is one of the best gifts you can give yourself.
This is a great opportunity to put some time aside for yourself, to pause, reflect and embrace the changes you are going through as-well as capture lasting memories of this special time with your partner before your next chapter starts. 

I will gently guide you through our session to make sure you and your partner feel your most comfortable selves.
 

Sessions are held around late afternoon or an hour or so before sunset.

IN-HOME NEWBORN

Your baby is finally here and so the adventure begins! Let’s capture their tiny little features from head to toe before they are not so tiny anymore and what better place to do this other than the comfort of your own home. The best thing about home sessions is that you don't need to bring a single thing.

These sessions are child led based which means we go with the flow of your baby and their needs. You can feed, soothe, have that HOT cup of coffee... just breathe in your home, your baby and this newborn bubble. I will gently guide you through every step of the way, whilst utilising different spots in your home - outdoors included if the weather permits. I will bring blankets and other props for the session and may utilise different furniture pieces from your home. Just leave that all up to me.

Partners, siblings and fur-babies are all welcome as we celebrate the arrival of your newborn baby.

Motherhood Photography is the heart and soul of what I do. We don't get in front of the lens enough and the ones we do have with our little ones, well they often sit around on our phones amongst hundreds of other random photos. Investing in this type of session is a gift you'll continue receiving with more return the older you get.

What better way to freeze this fleeting time clock than by setting some time aside to really connect with your little one. There is no pressure to glam up because it's not the clothes on your back or your surrounding that I'll be capturing but purely the connection you have with your baby. I want you to experience the joy of being able to look back at these photos even after a couple of years on and to be able celebrate this chapter of your life that probably seemed like a total blur at the time. These sessions are best done in your own home as this is where baby will feel the most comfortable or at my home studio.

 Family sessions are all about connection, letting go of what you can't control (aka the little ones) and simply being in the present moment with your loved ones. 

These sessions are special as they can be held anywhere and we can do whatever you like! We can go for a walk by the beach, forest or I can simply document you and your family as you are in the comfort of your own home *i.e. baking a cake with your little ones or pottering around in the garden* - it doesn't really matter. What matters is that you're there with your favourite people and the rest you can leave up to me. I will be there to gently guide you through the session or in most cases, the children will lead the way (which is totally normal and makes for the most special photos.)
